Nussknacker aus Holz, die Nüsse mittels Hebeltechnik in ihrem „Mund“ knacken werden besonders in der Weihnachtszeit als Dekoration aufgestellt. Hergestellt werden sie seit der ersten Hälfte des 19. Jahrhunderts vor allem im Erzgebirge. Das oft grimmige Aussehen der Nussknackergesichter soll an die damalige Obrigkeit erinnern. Seit vielen Generationen werden im Hause Müller Kleinkunst traditionelle Motive aus Holz gefertigt. Dieser Waldarbeiter wurde ausgerüstet mit Axt und Kreissäge. Zum Schutz trägt er einen Helm auf dem Kopf.
