The baroque church of the small village Seiffen in the German Erzgebirge is a popular theme of the Wooden Art manufactured in that area. The church at the center of that lovely candle arch is surrounded by the old school building, the city hall and houses of the former miners with typical slated roofs. Children in traditional clothing in the front are singing Christmas songs. Faces of the figures are hand-painted. When the wax candles are lit the scenery shines in a marvelous dimmed-warm light.
